Dogfish Head Brewery 60 Minute IPA

Nose: Full-on citrus hop resins. There are hints of chocolate and suggestions of strawberry begin to poke through.
Palate: Very complex: there's lots of hop, plenty of countering sweetness and creamy tart fruit – grapefruit and red berries. Smooth, mouthfilling, spicy and tangy.
Finish: Dry, hoppy and and still creamy.
Comment: Packed with flavour but cleverly balanced with a refined smoothness. The first of three IPAs from this Delaware brewery that makes its living by fearlessly pushing the envelope. The names of the three IPAs refer to the boiling time.
