Deeply malty with a pronounced smoked accent. Wood
lies behind it all and orange-citrus notes fight for attention.
Palate
Full and tastebud-grabbing, with a spikey, winey warmth. Mellow, sweet oranges and dried vine fruits blend with vanilla and smoke on top of a smooth malt base. Balancing bitterness comes from the wood as well as the hops.
Finish
Bittersweet, woody and warming, leaving a pleasant glow.
Comment
A complex and very enjoyable, red-orange beer that
delivers in body, taste and strength.

Nose
Akin to rum'n'raisin ice cream with rubber background.
Palate
High grade maple syrup hits and is joined by vanilla.
Finish
Overpoweringly maple flavoured with burnt vanilla pod.
Comment
Light brown and would benefit from a tad more body.
