Nose
Appealing, lemony hops with grainy cereal behind.
Palate
Mostly bitter, spicy-hoppy and tangy. Full bodied and reasonably thick.
Finish
There's a welcome burst of orange on the swallow, leading on to a dry, hoppy, tangy and increasingly bitter finish.
Comment
A pilsner from a brewery based near Würzburg. Not quite as subtle as others featured here but nicely balanced, with clean flavours.
