Rich, deep malt, verging on toffee, overlaid with bursts of orange, some tea and sappy green shoots.
Palate
Malt leads the way, filling the body and offering both sweet and savoury notes, although this is a fairly dry beer overall. Citrus hints add sharpness and there's more toffee and sappy bitterness, plus raisins, herbs and tea.
Finish
Ashy roasted grain, toffee and more sappy bitterness. Dry, bittersweet and long lasting.
Comment
