Nose: Biscuity, grainy malt, some plain chocolate and a vague light fruitiness.
Palate: Slightly sour plum fruitiness leads over biscuity, coffeeish dark malts.
Finish: Sour/tart plums linger but biscuity, chocolatey flavours come through to dominate. Drying all the time.
Comment: An interesting, reasonably successful marriage of fruit and dark malts from a Welsh microbrewery.
