Nose
Chocolate features in the creamy dark malt aromas, plus a touch of liquorice and a trace of winey fruit.
Palate
Full and mostly sweet but with a bitter edge. Dark chocolate, molasses and malt are the main flavours, with some dried fruits and a spicy warmth lurking behind.
Finish
Dry, chocolatey and bitter. Slightly chalky and also throat tingling.
Comment
A clean, tasty, full-bodied Dutch bock that is lagered for at least 12 weeks.
