Nose
Spicy, zesty hops bringing bitter orange and apricot flavours.
Palate
More powerful, tangy hops with more bitter orange and apricot. Not, however, exceptionally bitter, with plenty of syrupy malt in support.
Finish
Warming, dry and quite chewy. Hops still in charge, offering lots of bitter citrus notes.
Comment
Flavour-packed, but a little chewy, dark golden strong ale.
