Sherbety, tart citrus fruit is evident but strong butterscotch aromas hold sway.
Palate
Bitter, tangy-hoppy and lightly acidic, but with yet more butterscotch taking the edge off the crispness.
Finish
Very dry, hoppy and bitter.
Comment
A popular beer from Nottingham, but a bit disappointing on this evidence. Butterscotch (diacetyl) flavours are
dominant to the detriment of other characteristics. Full flavoured, nonetheless, with a good finish.
