Nose
Raisins are prominent, along with plenty of malt and a little spice.
Palate
A bittersweet, malt and hop mix with a distinct raisin accent.
Finish
Mostly bitter with lingering raisin.
Comment
It doesn't work for me, I'm afraid. It's reasonably well balanced but perhaps too contrived and, ultimately, rather unexciting. Also spoiled by ‘wet paper' oxidation notes.
