Nose
Light sweetcorn and tropical fruit. Slightly grainy.
Palate
Bitter and hoppy but with an unusual, grainy, sour-ish note that is not unpleasant, plus weak suggestions of tropical fruit. Herbal notes emerge and the strength is also apparent.
Finish
Dry and chewy with sweet and sour notes. Increasingly herbal-hoppy and bitter.
Comment
A golden lager from Cuba. A little thick but with a very pleasant herbal hop character.
