Nutty malt with a strangely herbal and medicinal accent.
Palate
Unusually herbal, and an acquired taste. Creamy, nutty and earthy, with sweeter dark malt flavours hiding beneath. Gently warming, but it disguises its strength
rather well.
Finish
Drying yet notably sweet, with coffee and the herbal notes hanging around, and more than a suggestion of a rum and coke.
Comment
A bizarre Polish beer, full of character, as Baltic region porters tend to be. It probably won't suit everyone's palate, but it does grow on you.
