Full of juicy passion fruit flavour.

Palate

Sharp, acidic passion fruit dominates the palate. The bitterness and sourness of the gooseberry-like flavours helps counter the intrinsic sweetness of the beer.

Finish

Sharp, bittersweet and fruity.

Comment

Refreshingly sharp and acidic – feel those gums recede! – and consequently not as sweet or cloying as other beers in the Floris range.

Quite simply, like the flesh of a passion fruit.

Sweet and acidic, with a bubbly carbonation to make your tongue tingle.

The acidity does a good job of keeping the sweetness in check.

Comment

I have a peculiar fondness for this beer, alright it's sweet but it doesn't seem as artificial as some of the other Floris beers. Do you know what? I'm going to score it highly and I don't care what anybody thinks. The fact is, I'd rather drink this than clovey baked bean juice (re: other wheat beers in this tasting).
