Nose: Clean and sharp with a distinct ‘sherbet lemons' aroma.
Palate: Zesty, lemony hops lead the way, offering a juicy and refreshing contrast to the otherwise dry, bitter flavours.
Finish: Dry, hoppy and herbal with some citrus zest lingering.
Comment: A well-brewed, clean pilsner with oodles of character. Produced for the monks at Weltenburger by the Bischofshof brewery in Regensburg.
