Sweet, sticky, pale malt overlaid with scented, herbal hops. A touch grainy with a soft sourness emerging.
Palate
Mostly bitter with gentle, grainy malt flavours and prominent herbal hops.
Finish
The best feature: dry, increasingly bitter and hoppy, with a herbal character.
Comment
A slightly disappointing performance from a usually reliable pilsner producer in the Eifel region, near the
Luxembourg border. Very good finish, though.
