Nose
Malty and biscuity. Mildly herbal with a touch of sweetcorn. Rather subdued.
Palate
Bittersweet and pleasantly hoppy, with plenty of background cereal sweetness. It's also a touch grainy and light alcohol notes undermine the cleanness.
Finish
Soft swallow. Bitterness slowly takes over. Increasing hops bring light herbal notes. Drying.
Comment
Not to be confused with San Francisco's Anchor Brewery, this is a pale golden lager from Singapore. Drinkable but could be more refined.
