Malty, with light caramel notes and tea-like herbal hops.
Palate
Sugary-sweet, grainy, warming and alcoholic. This is a fullbodied, syrupy beer with a gentle herbal hop contrast, as well as some unfortunate oxidation.
Finish
Bittersweet and drying, turning more bitter as herbal hops really kick in to counter the lingering thick malt.
Comment
The hops in the decent finish go some way towards redeeming this bright golden Spanish beer, but it's still too obviously strong for its own good.

Nose
Nice grainy aroma, with some butterscotch / vanilla notes – seems somehow whiskyish. Maybe a hint of toasted grain and hop spice.
Palate
Initial burst of sweetness, grainy on palate, nice robust malt character and some hop bitterness, a little fruitiness. Good carbonation.
Finish
Some bitterness, but stays nicely rounded and balanced. Nice full-bodied aftertaste.
Comment
The bottle looks gimmicky, but don't be put off – it's
really a decent enough effort, and surprisingly flavoursome.
