Nose

Malty with just a hint of liquorice and lots of robust, earthy hops.

Palate

Earthy, again, and bittersweet, with a vague light fruit note, a little crushed almond and a background dryness. Strong and alcoholic.

Finish

Dry, bitter and quite thick. Slightly nutty and roasted, with lingering hops.

Comment

A full-flavoured IPA dedicated to Robin Hood. Too strong-tasting for my liking, however, and it could be a little cleaner, too.
