Nose
Big wafts of citrus and tropical fruit (grapefruit and pineapple). A little toasted malt in the background.
Palate
Zingy, fruity (grapefruit) but notably bitter hops. Hints of pear drop and barley sugar sweets. Crisp for the strength.
Finish
Resoundingly hoppy finish. Malty sweetness is pushed aside as dryness develops.
Comment
Flavour-loaded, dark golden beer designed to be served chilled.
