Nose: Big, grainy, nutty malt aroma.
Palate: Full, rich and pleasantly bittersweet. Lots of smooth, sticky, very nutty malt overshadows the soft, hoppy bite. Gently warming.
Finish: Dry, fairly thick and increasingly tangy, hoppy and bitter. Still nutty though.
Comment: A full-bodied, flavoursome golden bock from Louisiana, but unfortunately served in a rather uninspiring bottle.
